If You're Not in One of These Two Groups....You've Got a Major Problem...

Do you realize that people, just like you, are going from poor to financially free every year?

We’re not talking about making millions and millions of dollars, unless of course that’s what you want to shoot for. We’re not even talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars.

For many people, we’re talking about $3,000 a month, or $5,000 or $7,000 a month.

Do you want to DRAMATICALLY increase your odds of becoming a financially free person?

There are only a two groups who have the odds in their favor when it comes to financial freedom….

Professionals, like doctors, lawyers, dentists, etc…… This group earns enough income to be able to save and grow their wealth.

Imagine Having Your Own "Dream Team"....

Did you see where the U.S. Men’s Basketball team won gold at the Olympics? Much like the teams of the 80’s, this year’s team was described as a “Dream Team”. Given the salary cap in professional basketball, there is no way this team could be formed except for the Olympics.

Every player was an all star. When one star sat down, another replaced him. With all that talent, there was no way this team was going to lose.

I believe that every PERSON should be a part of such a team! No, not a basketball team, but their own team equally dedicated to SUCCESS in the areas of WEALTH and ABUNDANCE.

Half way already.....

Can you believe it? We’re half way through 2008! Wow, where does the time fly?

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the first half of 2008?

What’s been your biggest success of this year?

My primary goal was to continue to grow my business and to add value for my clients.

I wanted to invest in my education and I’ve attended 2 out of state seminars, purchased and studied dozens of books and audio books, as well as form a Master Mind Group.

I wanted to explore opportunities with business “gurus” and have several incredible opportunities now available to me.

I wanted to create a state of the art learning program, and am now actually in production for this project. I believe this program will impact the lives of millions of people.

I wanted to travel, and have 3 weeks in Europe right around the corner.

Someone mentioned to me something about a recession. I told them I refuse to participate.

We still have 6 full months left in this year. Six months that can be the starting point for your future success.

How do you intend to invest these next 6 months? What are you going to do that’ll be any different than what you’ve done for the first 6 months of this year?

Here’s an idea that is guaranteed to get you results.

Write down the single, most important thing you MUST accomplish by the end of this year. It’s got to be something that if you complete it, will be an accomplishment that will be worth the effort you’ll have to put in to get it.

Fix in your mind ONE SINGLE GOAL. Think about it. Visualize it. Meditate about it. One goal that is special.

After you decide what it is, tell someone close to you what you’re goal is and that you intend to do it by the end of the year. Ask for their support.

And then, make up your mind once and for all, that this time, YOU WILL SUCCEED. This time, there’s no doubt about it, you can and you will accomplish your goal.

Hail to the Giants....

Many of the greatest lessons you can learn in life can be learned from sports. I’ve been a sports fan my entire life, and I am positive that the life lessons I’ve learned through sports have made a huge difference in my life.

The New York Giants, 2 touchdown UNDERDOGS, beat the UNDEFEATED New England Patriots 17-14 to win the Superbowl. If you had bet on the Giants to win, you’d have won 4 TIMES YOUR BET!

New England won all 18 games this season, setting records along the way. They were in a league of their own. Before the season began, they were the prohibitive favorite in Las Vegas, and they were living up to their billing.

The Giants were long shots to win the Superbowl prior to the season. They were coming off a mediocre season in 2006, and their head coach, Tom Coughlin, had to interview and explain why he shouldn’t be fired afterwards.

To make matters worse, they lost their first 2 games of the season and were well on their way to losing the third game. Somehow they pulled off a miraculous win, and eventually fought their way back into contention.

When they made it into the playoffs, they were forced to win 3 consecutive games on the road! That’s an amazing feat! They were underdogs in all 3 games, but they managed to win them.

Regardless, they were STILL 14 point underdogs against the Patriots. It was an incredible upset. It was David beating Goliath.

If you ask most unbiased football fans, they will overwhelmingly say that New England had the better talent. Player for player, you’d virtually always take the Patriot player over the Giant.

After the game, the interesting thing was to hear the comments from the players. When asked to explain what happened, to a man, the Patriot players said that they played as hard as they could, and that, for this day, they were beat by a better team.

Success starts at the top. It starts with the leader. With the Giants, it’s their head coach Tom Coughlin. He’s now SUPERBOWL CHAMPION Coach Tom Coughlin. He’s been a successful head coach for over a decade. Year after year, he’s PERSISTENLY been working at his craft with 100% COMMITMENT and PASSION. You do NOT accidentally coach a team to the Superbowl!

What do you think were Tom Coughlin’s goals for the team for 2007?

He wanted to win the Superbowl. He was totally dedicated to the prospects of building a team capable of competing for a Superbowl.
He set up a plan on how he was going to build a team capable of winning the Superbowl.
He assembled a staff of coaches that would help him reach this goal.
Then he went to work.
When things went bad, he worked harder.
He never gave up.
He led by example.
He supported everyone.
He encouraged everyone.

And now, he’s Superbowl Champion Tom Coughlin!

What’s the lesson here?

Know exactly what YOU WANT. Determine your GOAL.
Have a burning PASSION for it. Have an overwhelming DESIRE for it.
Put together a PLAN to get it.
Assemble your TEAM, the people who will HELP YOU achieve it.
Go to WORK.
NEVER QUIT.

Understand the REAL MESSAGE behind this lesson, and your life can never be the same. Miss the message, and you will continue to struggle with money your entire life.

Do YOU want to be a CHAMPION in life?

It starts with a PHILOSOPHY of THINKING.

It Took Me the Longest Time.........

One of the greatest benefits of studying successful people and the strategies they used to achieve their success, is that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You can simply follow their strategies and get the same results.

That doesn’t mean that you don’t have a learning curve and that you will still have to force yourself to grow. It means you’ll save a lot of time along the way. It means that what took someone 5 years to figure out and do, you can now do in 18 months.

It's taken me a long time to understand one guiding principle that has made all the difference to me since I’ve begun applying it. Don’t wait until you’re my age to figure this one out.

When observing the most successful people I personally know in life, and looking at the lives of the most successful people I’ve studied, THIS ONE ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT IS COMMON.

To be extraordinarily successful, you will need to form YOUR TEAM. It is virtually impossible to be highly successful without the help and cooperation of other people.

Henry Ford always talked about the idea that he surrounded him with folks WHO WERE SMARTER THAN HIM. If he needed a great designer for his team, he found one. If he needed a great marketer for his team, he found one. Whoever he needed to find and add to his team, he did. He called that HIS MANAGEMENT TEAM. Relying on the performance of each member of the team in their area of expertise made Henry Ford a wealthy man. Their meetings were in fact, what Napoleon Hill refers to as a Mastermind Meeting.

In the past couple of years, as I have moved away from Corporate America and into Entrepreneurship America, I have finally begun to truly understand this concept of team and mastermind.

To be a truly successful entrepreneur, there are many areas where you need to be a MASTER, or have access to a MASTER. There are simply too many areas that come up for you to personally take the time to learn and MASTER the topic.

What’s the major shortcut to HUGE financial success? Decide EXACTLY the GOAL you want to accomplish, figure out the plan to accomplish it, decide which areas you will personally tackle, and decide which areas you will EMPLOY the skills and expertise of others.

In our personal lives, we need to begin to create our TEAM. For most of us,, the team will include your doctor, your dentist, your barber/stylist. A critical missing factor for virtually every person I ever meet is a FINANCIAL WEALTH BUILDER COACH. Someone on your team to help you in an area that is critical to your financial success. Someone on your team to help you improve your money management skills, your income generating skills.

As you go through your day, keep in mind the idea of building your team, your GO TO guys/gals in the areas of life that are important to you. Build your team relationship by relationship. Assemble them regularly for mastermind meetings. Learn to depend and rely on them just as they can depend and rely on you.

UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOU’VE JUST READ WILL SHORTEN YOUR PATH TO SUCCESS BY HALF!

One of my goals for 2008 is to build and grow several mastermind groups of self motivated, positive, enthusiastic, energetic, and success focused individuals who are looking for a way to LEAP INTO A NEW FINANCIAL LIFESTYLE, and are willing to put in the price of time, energy and money to make their dreams a reality.

Do You Realize This????

The world is going through major changes unlike we’ve ever experienced before.

Technology now allows all of us access to virtually any piece of information we desire at the push of a few buttons.

What does this mean for you and me?

IT MEANS THAT YOU CAN CREATE WEALTH FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD YOU CHOOSE TO SPEND YOUR TIME!

In fact, as an entrepreneur, the Internet can be the fastest way for ANYONE to create financial freedom in this day and age.

Unfortunately, it isn’t quite as easy as setting up a web site and waiting for the money to start rolling in. Life doesn’t happen that way.

However, ANYONE who decides to devote 1,000 hours of their life to becoming an internet entrepreneur and really COMMITS to putting in the time and the effort and the financial investment, can become financially free.

The critical element is the system you choose to implement. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You don’t have to go through the school of hard knocks.

Just like the “real world”, THE FAILURE RATE of Internet marketing business mirrors traditional businesses. Less than 5% of all Internet sites are profitable. In other words, 95% FAIL!

What you do have to do is research and find someone who is already successful as an internet marketer, look at their system, look at their ethics, and decide if they meet your needs.

When I ran Peak Potentials Training, Harv Eker used to have some of the most successful internet marketers on the planet come and teach at his programs. I saw their systems and their strategies, and watched as they were creating sales real time while they were on the stage teaching.

Over the past couple of years, I have researched many of the most successful Internet marketing “gurus”. I have met several successful Internet marketers. It’s been a desire of mine to learn as much as possible, “get in the corridor”, and then create a “mastermind” with others who are COMMITTED to become MASTERS in the business of Internet marketing.

What are the rewards for learning to MASTER the skills of Internet marketing? Is it worth the pursuit?

Well…..imagine having $5,000, $10,000, $20,000 or more coming in each month as income? Imagine being able to grow your business exponentially. Imagine running your own business and controlling your own life. Imagine having a business that ran 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, all from the comfort of your own home, or the beach in Tahiti, or your cabin in Colorado, or wherever you have access to a phone and the internet. Imagine having a business that operates whether you are there or not.

These are the potential rewards of mastering the skills of Internet marketing and then taking the necessary ACTION with that knowledge and working at it until you succeed.

I’ve learned that there are about 10 key steps that must be mastered in order to really succeed as an Internet marketer. If you miss any one of these steps, you’ll be in trouble.

Napoleon Hill wrote in his best selling book “Think and Grow Rich” that the concept of a MASTERMIND GROUP can have a gigantic impact on the success of any worthwhile goal. If each person brings critical skills to the group, the end result is something far greater than any one person could accomplish on their own.

As I prepare my 2008 goal list, one of my highest goals is to create a mastermind group of the RIGHT people who want to MASTER Internet marketing, and create another source of income.

When I say RIGHT people, I’m referring to their habits and characteristics.

Here they are…….

They have to be nice people. I surround myself with people I enjoy being with.
They have to be willing to learn. I surround myself with people who have a thirst for knowledge.
They have to be passionate about their own personal growth and development. I surround myself with high energy, positive people.
They have to be COMMITTED. I surround myself with people whose word I can count on.
They have to have a “Warrior” mentality. If you don’t know what that is, look back in my blog to all the posts I’ve written about it.
They have to want to join the elite top 5%. That’s what this blog is all about.
